However, while prosser says the band will be sent out, it isn't yet clear whether the sport band will need to be returned to apple once a replacement solo loop has been sent out.
The sport band watches come with two sizes of strap, the loop watches with only one. That means if you have a sport band, you can use a simple conversion to work out your solo loop size. I put my sport loops in laundry net and put in the washer, and it comes out nice and clean.
I can just wash it in detergent but thought it would be helpful if apple provided some info on the best way to clean it without damaging the velcro etc.
1x new sport loop band (2018 season, 24cm long) middle: Just call apple — if it's your first apple watch order, they'll send a replacement sport band. The solo loop is a smooth band and the braided solo loop provides some texture to the band. Sport band is the band that showed us that it was possible to use a laptop and wear a watch at the same time.
