Selection of this major is to prepare students for a career in sport management. Students study the general principles of business, like marketing, management, and finance, and how they relate to the sports industry. And they’re sharing it as part of a presentation series. Students explore elements of marketing and sales, sponsorships, corporate strategic management, financing of small businesses, research methods and statistics, personnel management, sport law, college athletics, and event management.
